ARTS OF POINT RICHMOND ( AOPR) 

ASSIGNMENT: AOPR Brochures

I had to create a welcoming and interesting informational piece to be handed out during events. The copy in word format  and other assets, such as images, were provided by the client. 
Later on, the client chose a smaller size  piece which would be more suitable for mailing.

I have to create a 4-panel brochure to fit the copy and images.
For some time, AOPR has been using a color logo, I chose to use that color scheme to unify the piece. 

The first hand out accordion brochure is printed in a large tabloid size. The smaller self mailing brochure is a legal size double parallel fold brochure.

ASSIGNMENT: Posters and one-sided postcard for the 2014 Christmas sale.

The name of the event calls for a universal theme: UNITY.     
The mosaic of flags gives emphasis to the lit candle, which is a common component of seasonal holidays around the world. The italics echo the organic quality of the flame, and also, softly and elegantly, complements the bold shapes of the graphic elements

I introduced the “Artsy Nutcracker.” From then on, it was adopted as the official AOPR Holiday Faire icon.
